My virtual field trip is all about recycling. I included links to videos for he kids to learn some of the basic facts about why and how to recycle. I also included videos giving the kids an idea of what happens at their local recycling plant. I also included a fun game for them to play, to get them better acquainted with recycling.

Scrumblr
In my classroom I would use the tool scrumblr for my students to be more informed of the activities and events happening during the duration of the school year. My students would be able to access scrumblr to see if there are any new assignments or activities posted. Scrumblr is simple and easy to use and gets a simple message across of what the students should be aware of. I would have a note for each subject, and then a note for social events or any other reminders as well.
